You and your dog are invited to join us for the Third Annual Ocean City Howling For Hounds Dog Swim. The event of the year will take place at the Port-O-Call Hotel in the Fall when the twelve contestants for Ocean City’s Dog of the Year contest meet at the Port-O-Call Hotel at 15th and the Boardwalk. The official crowning will take place at 12 noon. The rain location will be in the outside covered area of the Music Pier.

Event schedule starts at 11:45 am when the twelve contestants for Ocean City's Dog of the Year contest meet on the grassy area next to the Port-O-Call Hotel at 15th and the Boardwalk. They've been battling it out for weeks and now the official crowning will take place at 12 noon. Join us and watch from the boardwalk or the pool deck. Which dog will rule for a year??

Come and see costumed canines and frolicking pooches taking turns in the Port-O-Call pool and the Crowning of Ocean City's Dog of the Year! There will also be a silent auction, so bring your money!!!!

You and your dog are invited to join us for this Annual Ocean City Canine Swimfest. Register right away! We are sorry but this part of the festivities is limited to the first fifty dogs to sign up. Swimming groups will start at 12:30 pm and continue until 2:30 pm.

All dogs (owners, too) are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes. Judging for most original, most beautiful and the scariest will take place between 12 -12:30 pm and prizes will be awarded at 2:30 pm

EVENT RULES:
1. Each dog must have proof of vaccination or a current dog license
2. Each adult may bring one dog. No children in the pool area under 16 years of age.
3. No dogs in heat. No puppies under the age of six months.
4. No aggressive dogs. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave.
5. No food or treats in the pool area. Toys will be provided.

The Ocean City Dog Park Association would like to inform you that in the event of rain the crowning of Dog of the Year and Costume Awards will be held on the Terrace of the Music Pier at noon. All dogs entered for the Dog Swim will receive a gift in lieu of the swim. No refunds will be given.
